Ex-Papandreou Minister Says She Cannot Get By With US $141,000 - HOW PITIFUL

HellasFrappe has never hidden its loathing of the former government of George Papandreou and the vast majority of our readers have openly agreed with this position. Today we know that most of his ministers were "taken care of" or acquired high ranking positions in various international organizations after helping the global banking elite to plunder our economy and literally destroy everything this nation has worked to build over the past 30 years. That is why it is no surprise that when we decided to publish the following story which we discovered in the ProtoThema newspaper.

According to the report, Tina Birbili, one of Papandreou's chosen few who is apparently enjoying a career as a UN envoy by staying in some of the most prestigious and expensive areas in Nairobi -along with her son and her mother- claims that she finds it difficult to get by with a mere US $141,000  a year.

While Greek citizens brave through month to month on 572 Euros, Birbili says that she cannot make ends meet with well over 140,000 smackaroos!

Seems that the girl is stuck somewhere between Champs Elyssées and a Victor Hugo shop.

This is not just here say, when she finished applying Papandreou politics at the Greek Ministry of the Environment several years ago, her boss (George Papandreou) personally helped her to acquire a high profile job in Paris. While there she lived on the 4th floor of an impressive six-storey neoclassical building -said to be built in 1891- which hosts the lucky representatives of Greece to the OECD with a net salary of 7,500 euros a month (not including all the other benefits that come along with these wannabe positions of power).

Her Cinderella story did not end there. Good old George (who we all know did Soros' bidding in Greece) made sure that Birbilis was well taken care of and we suspect that after her run at OECD he used his elite contacts to help her land a diplomatic job -with the United Nations- in exotic Nairobi, with a salary of $141,227.

The article in ProtoThema revealed that she has rented a large house in the Hill View Estate area, where rents begin at 2,500 Euros per month -depending on the size and luxuries offered by each house-. It did not come as a surprise to us that she chose this area, because all of Papandreou's cronies have impeccable taste when it comes to the finer things in life.

But we feel for her. The area she lives in is very posh, and she is apparently required to pay for security staff since the rate of crime in the capital of Kenya is extremely high. It is no coincidence that the global travel guide “Lonely Planet” calls the city “Nairobbery”, and warns travelers to be extra careful during their visit.

Poor girl. We have to do something to help her. It is obvious that her salary is not sufficient enough. We suggest that our readers send Mrs. Birbilis a financial contribution in order to help her get by. Please do not brush this off as a joke, giving up Spas, caviar and champagne everyday is no laughing matter. (We are joking of course.... Ti allo tha akousoume Theouli mou! How pitiful!)
